• International Journal of Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability - Award of Excellence (2007) for paper 'Regenerative Tourism: Re-placing the Design of Ecotourism Facilities' • Awarded first prize in the Office of Housing ‘Sustainable Housing Design Competition’ with DesignInc Melbourne in 2001.
• Awarded second prize in the RIBA/British Gas Design Awards ‘National Energy Efficiency Student Competition’ in 1991.
