Dr Jennifer Loy has a background in commercial Interior Design and Furniture Design for mass production. Her PhD is in Industrial Design and she has a Masters in Textiles and Product Design. Jennifer is Program Director of the Interior Design degree. She also works with the Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood (CSAW) as a Research Fellow and is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Architecture & Design.

Working for a design consultancy in London’s Oxford Street gave Dr Jennifer Loy the opportunity to design commercial shops and restaurants in the West End. She then went on to designing commercial and residential projects throughout the UK and elsewhere, including show houses for the Japanese market, exhibitions in Europe and furniture for mass production in the UK and Australia. Jennifer was a featured Interior Designer on the BBC1 television show Real Rooms.
